Cliff Bleszinski, the famous CliffyB, has left Epic Games after 20 years of being their top design director.
While working at Epic, Bleszinski helped bring some of the company's most revered franchises to life. Bleszinski's legacy includes games such as the 1990's famous Jazz Jackrabbit, Unreal Tournament, Infinity blade and Gears of War.
"I've been doing this since I was a teenager, and outside of my sabbatical last year, I have been going non-stop. I literally grew up in this business, as [Epic Games president Mike Capps] likes to say. And now that I'm grown up," Bleszinski wrote in a letter to his colleagues.
"It's time for a much needed break."
