Goat Z pokes fun at survival genre

Games like Goat Simulator have been designed from the ground up to be silly, nonsensical and largely pointless fun from the start, but they also tend to poke fun other games while they go, and highlight some of the sillier parts of those experiences that we're all supposed to take with a straight face.

Goat Z then, the upcoming DLC for the game, takes things in a survival direction, giving players the ability to craft weapons and materials and to gun down and be chased by bugged out zombies. However you will need to "eat every damn five minutes to survive, because Dean Hall and Garry Newman said so."

So you can see the tone this DLC is taking.

The additional map looks to feature more of the ridiculousness that the original game did, with weird physics to play with and strange things to discover. And there's zombies. Lots of zombies.

The game officially releases tomorrow (May 7) on Windows PC, Mac and Linux platforms, priced at $5 for those who own the original Goat Simulator. There will also be Android and iOS versions for those that want some silly survival action on their tablet too.
