Fans of the Metal Gear Solid franchise are preparing for a special event on December 22nd which will see Kojima-san introduce a three and a half hour long movie based on the next console appearance of Snake.
The movie will be made up of in-game footage, game cinematics and narrative and will also feature a remastered soundtrack by Hideo Kojima himself. The premiere of the movie will only be open to Japanese gamers and will be held at the Oribe Hall, Tokyo. Konami has launched a competition offering 160 people the chance to attend the event but you have to be in Japan. 80 lucky winners (each with a guest) will be the first gamers in the world to witness the movie.
The movie's main purpose will be to accompany the MGS 3 game sale, beginning December 22, in the shape of a bundled 3rd disc. Konami has not yet made it clear if this offer will be exclusive to Japanese copies of the game.
