3DS exclusive Monster Hunter battler, Monster Hunter X, is set to head over to the West after all, though it will be called something slightly different: Monster Hunter Generations.
Originally released in November in Japan, Monster Hunter Generations will bring all of its new features to Western shores later this year, including the expanded line up of weapons and armor to craft and unlock, new jumping abilities and special attacks, and of course new monsters to face off against.
Generations features four distinctly dangerous beasts, some with new attacks to worry about, but with four styles for each weapon class, hunters have plenty of abilities of their own to use against them.
Fans of the home console variants of the game will be sad to know that there are no plans to bring this to the Wii U or any other systems other than the 3DS.
With not enough units of Tri Ultimate shifting on the Wii U, it looks like we'll need to just keep our fingers crossed that Capcom decides to invest in the upcoming NX console instead.
