Sony announced today that a refreshed version of its PlayStation 4 is about to hit the market.
The updated PlayStation 4 (CUH-1200) is 10% lighter and consumes 8% less power than its CUH-1100 predecessor. The new model will have part of its glossy bodywork replaced by a matte finish to be "more casual."
Sony also announced the 'PlayStation 4 Ultimate Player 1TB Edition', which will launch "in select Europe and PAL territories" from July 15. The company is yet to announce pricing and release dates for other markets.
