It certainly is rude to peek at other people's phones and laptops in public transportation. But what if the guy sitting next to you was working on an unannounced Tomb Raider games? Would you be able to keep yourself from staring at his screen? Lucky for us, one gamer succumbed to the temptation and actually snapped quite a blurry photo of a fellow commuter's laptop screen while he was working on a slideshow presentation about the next Tomb Raider title.
Redditor Tripleh280 was riding Montreal public transit when he noticed that the guy sitting next to him was working on a presentation titled "Shadow of the Tomb Raider." The title certainly falls in line with the series' latest installments, Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider. In fact, sources in the industry have confirmed to Kotaku that - while the title might change before launch - this is indeed the name of the next Tomb Raider game.
The last 2 Tomb Raider games were developed by Crystal Dynamics which is located in San Francisco. However, there have been rumors floating around that the next title was to be developed at the Montreal-based Eidos Montreal.
