Following the footsteps of EA and co, Warner Bros revealed that all Catwoman content in its upcoming Batman: Arkham City will be accessible only through a one-time-use VIP online pass that comes bundled with new copies.
After activating their VIP pass, players will gain access to four story scenes that feature Catwoman, and will be able to play her in the game's challenge mode. Players with no VIP-pass (i.e. buyers of used copies) will get to see Catwoman in the game but they won't be able to control her.
The VIP pass will be available for second hand game purchasers for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live or $10 on PlayStation Network.
"Playing as Catwoman is not required to complete the game," a Warner Bros. representative pointed out.
