Whenever new content is released for an MMO, there's a rush by the biggest players and groups in the game to try and be the first clear it. That's a given, but it does usually at least take a few days or hours.
In the case of Destiny's new Hard mode for Crota's End however, players took under half an hour to blast their way through it.
Clan One and Done, claimed the accolades with its 27 minute clear time, despite the fact that the raid featured enemies that are higher than the game's level 32 cap, as well as removing the Chalice of Light, an item that can be held by players to give them some measure of health regeneration during the final fight.
Beating Hard Mode will give the clan access to new weaponry and items which are unique to the raid and will no doubt give them some real bragging rights when wandering amongst mere mortal players.
The fact that Bungie gave them props on the official Twitter as the first clearers is a pretty good brag as well.
