There's a lot of crazy tribal magic going on in Far Cry Primal, with you controlling beasts, possessing birds and using the power of the wild to take down opposing tribes. It's not exactly historically accurate, but that's what's fun about games like this - and I for one have been waiting for a game like this since Lionhead teased BC back in the early '00s.
But before the game has even released, Ubisoft has some plans for the first DLC, which you can pre-order before getting the game as part of the various bundles available. It's known as Legend of the Mammoth, and it will give players a chance to take on the form of a mythical mammoth, letting you tackle three distinct missions with that stomping giant in mind.
Players have to quaff some herbs to make it happen, heading on a spirit journey into the mind and body of a mighty mammoth. You'll punt rhinoceros, smash humans, build your herd of similarly monstrous creatures and punish those who have worried your numbers.
Far Cry Primal is set for release on February 23. You can get these Legend of the Mammoth DLC if you pre-order the special edition, or you'll be able to pick it up after release for a few dollars.
