EA has denied the existence of Mass Effect 2 several times in the past, but now, thanks to an investor conference call, we now know when it's coming.
During the investor conference call, EA CEO John Riccitiello confirmed Mass Effect 2 as a fiscal 2010 Q4 title. This sets the game for release within January to March 2010.
