Rockstar promises more solo content for GTA Online

Grand Theft Auto Online might be a multiplayer-focused experience, but that doesn't mean there aren't heaps of players who enjoy it by themselves. There's still plenty for them to do, but Rockstar is aware that the majority of its content updates for GTA Online have been improving the multiplayer experience more than the single player one. It's going to rectify that.

In fact it already has. The latest update, the enormous and explosive GTA Online The Cayo Perido Heist, can be played all by yourself if you prefer. You can't do that on any other heists, but you may be able to in the future. Rockstar is moving forward by acknowledging the solo players out there and plans to release more content with that play style in mind.

"It’s something that’s been on our minds for quite some time and the community has been vocal about it," Rockstar design director, Scott Butchard said in a chat with GQ. "It’s something we’re keen to carry forward."

Since he believes players should be able to choose the way they want to play, part of that is playing by yourself if you want. Even in an online game like GTA Online.

What do you think of the new Cayo Perico Heist single player experience?
