Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, fresh off the back of a launch that most developers dream of, is aiming to keep its players as happy as possible for the next 12 months. It's doing that with a year's worth of free content, including new missions, new weapons and equipment, and even more brutal difficulty levels for those who've conquered the highest mountains.

Space Marine 2 has become known for its bombastic single player story, but it's the multiplayer modes that have players hooked. Whether it's the PvP mode that pits teams of players head to head, or the PvE mode that puts teams of three Space Marines against masses of enemies in Operations. Every element of this is due to get a beefy upgrade, spread across four seasons of content.
The first season has already passed, but starting with season two, players will get access to new PvE missions, a new enemy, the Hierophant Bio-Titan, and a new pistol, the Neo-Volkite Pistol. Also included is a new difficulty, Lethal. This promises to add challenge even for those players who have mastered the current highest difficulty.
Season three and four will look to expand even further, adding new PvP arenas to battle in, an expansion to the Battle Barge, new PvP game modes, more PvE Operations, more weapons, and even more enemies to carve through.
Those who've paid for a season pass have even more to look forward to, thanks to the Dark Angels cosmetics. These new customization options allow players to forge their Space Marine into a member of enigmatic and mysterious Dark Angels Chapter, a Chapter surrounded by mystery and secrets, but more importantly than that, also equipped with some of the coolest cosmetic items you can find. Crucially, this also contains a bunch of exclusive items for the Bulwark class, including an incredible looking new Power Sword.
