It seems possible that Activision CEO Robert Kotick may have slipped and released information regarding the company's plans for the True Crime sequel. In a media event in New York, Kotic released information which not only suggests that there will be a sequel but that it is already well under way.
According to information from the event Kotic claimed that a sequel exists and that it will take place in other cities. Activision have refused to confirm the news and it seems that the statement was not planned and has the company slightly confused.
Whetehr you like the game or just consider it the ugly GTA:VC lookalike, you have to accept that the game has been successful and that it does have a few redeeming qualities.
In that respect alone a sequel could be considered an interesting prospect and the other cities idea is also an exciting one.
